You may think it took so freakin' long to post because I sweat and struggled to spell Karolina's name correctly or broke untold innocent #2's in graphic battle with the normal straight line drawing challenges (look at that floor, yikes!). In reality, the scanner self destructed. The good (bad?) news:  bought new one and have major scrawl backlog to post.

Dern it, Clev fans we lost. But it was a fantastic, unexpected playoff run and excellent, super-competitive World Series. Game 7's momentum shifts were nothing short of cardiac-arrest thrilling, producing the most exciting baseball game I've ever seen. Congrats Cubs and Chicago fans, you earned it.

Johnson is the scariest nice dude in the UFC. If his dynamite fists can connect cleanly with Cormier's chin, he's the new champ.

Saturday's UFC main card was insanely entertaining from top to bottom. In the incredible, back-and-forth main event, mr loser's scorecard had rounds 1,4 for McGregor and round 3 for Diaz. Hard-fought rounds 2 and 5 could have gone to either guy - forced to judge I'd give 2 to McGregor and 5 to Diaz.

NetFlix's Stranger Things is a super fun, horror-SF, retro 80s mind bender. Took me a couple episodes to adjust to 90s hipster chic Ryder as 44 year old mom.

Haven't seen the flick (still need to see Dawn of Justice, alas). While I'm unloading my comic-book sins, it's time to confess I'm stalled on Gotham, stuck on Daredevil episode 3 and haven't even glanced at Arrow or Flash.
